Play the game more than you use the forums.

Yeah, and get out of the newb server as soon as you feel confortable with the controls. You will learn much better from the vets in the main games.

use teamspeak (with teamspeak overlay so you know who's talking if you're playing as well)... most vets prefer to speak rather than type due to the fact its much easier.

Do we have a teamspeak server (dedicated that is)?

I might hop on it sometime, I prefer the VC and text interface for pickup games, Teamspeak is almost required for Squad matches in any game.
