There have been at least a dozen newbies the last few days mentioned something about the Digg list and trying out alleg from it...Very cool.
As basically a newb myself its nice coming in during an apparent resurgance.

That's so odd. I found this by Stumbling, and was like "wtf, old favorite now free/has people playing?" I still have the PC Gamer issue that got me into this game, haha! It was a preview article about the concepts and stuff. new players will make this game easier to play for other new players. few people realize how frustrating the real server is when you leave the newbie server (75% of your time in a pod, etc). alleg is one of the few games that i stopped playing the same day i got it. good thing i started up again though.
