But in one way he is right. If there are so many stacked games and so many threads about it. The community might think about some resolutions for this. I.e. never play without autobalance on or something similiar.
It is not fair to call somebody a noob and tell him to shut up. He is part of this community and you guys have to be nice. On the forums nobody is a vet. Here we're all just individuals.

Think about and help to deal with the problems instead of posting nonsense.

no, on the forums i remeber your skills in game and then compare them to what your saying. 9 times out of 10 they add up, a newbie whining about the same things, or using the solution we've tried mulitple times. If, and when one of them come's up with something new, then i'll take notice. Until then, I will continue to act jaded

Which is exactly my point to all of you Guitarism if you don't know who I am and have never played with me... Then why discount me out of hand. I was asking the Community if my perception of the Stacking issue was valid. Some say yes some say no, It was not meant as a Whine! I was only asking if it was possible to fix it.

But as I stated before "If a community is to be sustained and grow you need to treat your new players with more "Respect".

There is a reason the rant forum was created, use it.

Some of us are $#@!ing tired of hearing all this whining over and over. you play games with 5 on 5 players of course they will stacked probably because your team had a newb comm and newbs like to stick together. personally i think these days most of the stacking is done by voobs (maybe i'm too optimistic) but the rest of us try to get even games. I suggest you accept that early advise that said play for a year then complain.
you know how people tell you not to comm until you've flown for a long time (say a year), i suggest people adopt this for posting. ONLY POST TO ASK FOR HELP UNTIL YOU KNOW WTF YOU ARE DOING.

Stacking?
That's why we have implemented the current ranking system. Alot of work has gone into it so far. If a comm accepts every player that wants to join then yes, perhaps all the (0)'s will happen to join him, and then it gets worse and worse. His fault for having auto accept on. Or, maybe someone could use the autobalance function. A team of all newbies like you saw possibly only wanted to play and get used to the game. Dosen't sound like a "main" server game being 5 vs 5.

Yes, people want even games around here, and have been working their collective asses off for years now trying to make them more balanced.

As far as "Respect" for newbies, try and find another game with so much help for new players with actual unpaid "education staff". You might also want to check the Rules of Conduct for booting a newbie from the game, it's pretty strict on the vets.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As for respect on a forum, on the internet.... are you insane? On any internet forum you can get a friendly "Welcome" and "Here are some links to info you need" at best. But if you voice an opinion, on an internet forum...., drama ensues. Anywhere.

Anyway, welcome to the game. And drama. /wub.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":iluv:" border="0" alt="wub.gif" />

Respect is earned.

I agree that respect is earned. However, that does not mean it is ok to disrespect... as a few here do. In my opinion, as a new player, this community is "stacked" (pun intended) with a lot of good people. They are willing to help if you only ask in the right way. There are a few bad apples though, as you will find anywhere. Just ignore the few and enjoy the rest. *Makes mental note to take own advice*

I have a question, isn't the team of 5 noobie just as guilty of making the game imbalanced as the 5 voobies? It takes 2 to tango.

Is the game any less fun knowing that you are vastly out gunned, and that you are the alamo? If you can't get the vets to play nice, let then have a 2 vs 3 game.

And yes this game will never last, the stacking is so bad this game will die any second now blah blah blah, if your going to be a whiner I think most noobies and vets would prefer you not play anyway.

yeah ususally all the newbies tend to stack one team too, its not too bad when they blindly stack the "better" com, but when they all blindly stack onto the weaker com's team it just all ends in tears.

most voobs already have reservations about joining a team with a doubtful com, add a newbie stack to that, it's not much wonder the other team gets stacked.
