QUOTE Build your outposts behind your own alephs. If you build anything within 2000 of an enemy aleph, you might as well destroy it yourself because it's going to be knocked down. If at all possible, build your outposts and other buildings behind alephs to your own sectors, forcing the enemy to cross the full length of the zone to attack you, and giving your defenders time to dock, change bases, launch, and intercept. [ Nebuchidnezzar][/quote]
Oh god. Beat it with a stick. Maim it. KILL IT.
Forcing your pilots to fly 7k or more to put any kind of offensive on is not smart commanding! I quit the team more than half the time when I see that kind of op placement.

I guess it depends if you are planning the rope a dope strategy, or the Napoleonic stratagy. If you are planning on playing defense and allowing you oponent to punch themselves out while you get some uber tech, this is ok advice, but allegiance is about agression and sector control, you can't control a sector by being in the corner. Alleginace is not about owning outposts, it is about cruching your enemy, seeing then driven before you and hearing the whining about lag and cheese from the enemy.
