It's not the new netcode. This dropping was normal even with the old netcode. /glare.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":glare:" border="0" alt="glare.gif" />

Remember that one old map that used to crash people/servers, the one with a million rocks in the center sector? When one person popped in there, the massive number of updates for all the rocks being spotted could crash the game.

My guess is its something like that for the big games. When you first join, the sever tries to give you an update for everything discovered and all the players, if there are too many players/messages then you might crap out.

I've noticed in the past that I'm most likely to drop in those first few seconds of joining a team in a largish game.

I was in the multi-squad game and had no problems of droppage so I dont get it. Posted on pkks thread rather than here.

I tried to log in to raise the count up, but I think my self-bannination prevents my log attempts from showing up (although it does reset me on the squad list). Of course I had to schedule my timeout during the anniversary match and still not do the homework I was supposed to /doh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="doh.gif" />

can't wait for another 7 more years
globey
Sorry Globey, but Allegiance never had that amount of ppl on at one time. EVER. The max I've seen is between 500 and 600 and never at once on one server(Logged in but spread out). I also remember that 200peep games were extremely laggy and unstable and required huge Servers (hence the FAZ only had 32peeps per server.)
