Is that your voice? It's very nice. /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" /> Fantastic video too.
By the way, including these in the Cadet course would not necessarily restrict access to them. Plenty of resources are used in the course, but available to everyone.

While it is undoubtedly a good training tool, i think it would be a shame to 'bury' this underneath an enlisting requirement. I think this is as much a promotion tool as it is an eductational tool.
Looking at this video, i can see an average joe coming out of watching this with a very good idea of what Alleg is about, along with having learned a few basic tactics in Allegiance. Which is why I think the logical place for this would either be linkage from the KB-soon-to-be-wiki or the Academy.
I didn't suggest making it an exclusive part of the curricullum, I simply suggested it be developed in the Cadet Course, themed to fit parts of said curricullum. This says nothing about who gets to see it (think of it as the Academy - we use it, but anyone can).

If only I could hear the thoughts of Weedman during a game instead of Lawson. /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" />
Oh yeah, AWESOME JOB LAWSON! Now we just need JAr Jar Binks doing the voice overs. /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />

Not bad.
It goes by a little fast; there are places where you need to explain more in depth to noobs about what is going on.
Now if we could only tack it on to a training mission. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Yea its a really professional video, awesome!
But I must agree, its a little bit too fast paced for newbies..
For example you could just speak a little bit slower /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Yup, that's me, unedited, on a $10 microphone.
I've posted more details on how I made the video back in the Helpline version of this thread:
