i dont think ive ever seen that many innuendos(sp) in a single post_SRM_PsycHosis wrote:QUOTE (_SRM_PsycHosis @ Nov 22 2006, 09:59 PM) try "lining it up" before trying to "stick it in" I have never had an issue with this, mostly its a matter of swinging it around till its in the right posistion. then just going striaght in. I'm thinking a sync issue, or someone seriously cant line it up.

But if you rip in, target the DD, then auto pilot, its not quite the same as lining up yourself. Whcih is what I did. Should dock first time with AP, wouldn't you agree?
And I will try again and see if it happens still.
Also, I wish I could remember who the other player was who could not dock his flagship. /doh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="doh.gif" />

you autopiloted it in? a brave man to let it handle itself. Most of us prefer to keep a firm grip on it, as we carefully orientate and line it up, often you have to roll it a little, to the left and the right, to ease it in there. I think that the AP may also have the wrong speed, bouncing you off on your first attempt at entry, where most of the manual users, either get a good run up, and just JAM it in there. or kinda mosy up, nose around a little, then kinda ninja their way in. its a tough call, especialy when your dealing with something of this magnitude. some people just cant handle the size.

its an actual discourse on how I would dock my flagship. I was comparing different methods of handling something of that size. I know not everyone has the same amount of experience with these kind of things. But seriously, those are actually viable tactics to do it! it works! and it works WELL!!! give it a shot, and see what kind of results you get. If you dont see an improvement in 30 days, you can call me for a full refund of STFU.Grim_Reaper_4u wrote:QUOTE (Grim_Reaper_4u @ Nov 26 2006, 11:07 AM) OMFG /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> That's a poetic dirty mind you got Psych

I've never heard anyone call it a flagship before but as long as it doesn't confuse your girlfriend go right ahead /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />_SRM_PsycHosis wrote:QUOTE (_SRM_PsycHosis @ Nov 27 2006, 06:41 AM) its an actual discourse on how I would dock my flagship.
i prefer to think of it as a htt seeing as your trying to dock it into someone elses enterance, not your own
besides, capships need un-usually large enterances to fit in, they just cant dock at the vast majority of bases, but htts can dock at all bases with an enterance,
and capships barely ever get used, htts get used much more often
