The point is not for XT to practice, it is for the community to potentially show up and learn some new tricks and tools to help them get better at playing the game. Really, this is not that unrealistic a challenge, and it can be pulled off if people put a little bit of thought into it.

Why don't we just host a big death match between 6 teams if you want everyone to practice their dogfigthing capabilities. Just use a custom map that unlocks all tech automatically, force everyone to rip to one sector (IE the combat sector), sit back, watch all hell break loose.

It's just annoying when a squad or clan in ANY game posts something about "Let's make it <squad or clan name here> vs the rest." I know it gives a big ego boost to that particular squad or clan when they are patting themselves on the back for owning ridiculous odds, but at the same time it becomes a threatening moment for new players who may become frustated. Not only that, but you make others feel left out becuase they are not on the rampaging squad or clan.

You want practice as a squad, then out of the six team deatchmatch mentioned above you should all join up and let it truly become your squad vs team 2 vs team 3 vs team 4 etc. This way it evens up the chances of who the winner may be.

This way you get your practice, you even out the odds a little with the free for all tactic thrown in, and no one feels ashamed by what they thought would be an impossible outcome

Plus....a real deatchmatch sounds soooo much more fun /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

prox mines FTW

but keeping on topic

GB needs practise with using the BFB, we have never used this tech in a squad game, and feel we need to learn more about it.

rules: gb get the BFB
other team must fly basic giga scouts only

it will be a basic deathmatch to 10000 kills.

the match will happen all day every day, as such all but RPS servers are being taken down

...yeah

Careful now, by making em Belts they'll get to steal the mini 3 tech and have Mini3/Gatt 1 figs.

I'm not sure if I'm being sarcastic or making a valid point...

Make sure you tap 2 twice so that the reticle aims the 2 mini's instead of the gatt.

You see the things XT has to teach you. /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />

Though then again they're talking about sticking to basic tech, so that means at best 1 mini3/1 gatt2 and maybe df2.
