Where the hell is that? I know there's some high speed tests in London ans WiMax testing in Stratford (so near, but yet so far... /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> ) but I wasn't aware of anything going on in Jockland. Is it any good? What's your usuall Alleg lag (I'd guess 60-100 still but I'd be interested to know).

My lag on the DN server is normally 60 for wotever that means. Its ran by Blueyonder. Via cable.

Scotland has always been ahead of england for internet connection speed.

We had 6Mb when most of england was using 2Mb via bt lines.

/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />..Now im on 100Mb/s hehehehehehe If the trial is successful im keeping it /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" />. Untill then ive got 2 months of this. 11.2MB/s download speed /mrgreen.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="mrgreen.gif" />

problem is finding a server than can handle it.

We have a business class connection at work, 1GB up and down. As long as they bill my home cable via work I have the same at home now. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> Of course I only average about half of that. /unsure.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="unsure.gif" />

I have ameritech dsl, 1500/750, costs 70 bucks a month local phone service included.

I am hoping for FIOS in the next 3 years to be installed but who knows.

When I build my next house that will be a major consideration as to where I put it.
