if you are podded, consider a probe you can dock at as a base else, its a probe

That doesn't fix it, madpeople, as the same thing will occur if you're heading (for example) towards your garr and it gets blown, you'll change AP for your TP, even if you're Dreg/Belters/Bios.

it would stop you going to a probe, and take you to a base, which is better

just pay attention while in game instead of foisting more work upon the dev people
