Well see what I'd like to see is light carrier (2/3 the effect of standard carrier) in garrison, med carrier (the standard carrier) in starbase or sy, and heavy carrier (enh carrier) in sy.

Nerfing Lt Carriers would definately make the 1337-TO Patty/Carrier Rush @#(!house. And that is a tactic that keeps Giga viable, I for one have seen it work against even the 'strong' starting factions, IC + Rix. With a massive anti-stacked team, a Giga Patty/Carrier rush raped GT hard, with a stack, P/C rush $#@!ING RAPED IC $#@!ING HARD, etc.

If LtCarriers couldn't accept SR, expanding would also be nerfed. Many commanders I've seen (including me) push all the opening cons and use the Lt Carrier as a temporary homerip, in fact, the Lt Carrier can act as a homerip even after the SECOND Tele con (provided the enemy doesn't bomb rush).

I just want patties to be able to even use at least 1 hunter.....

Belt enh fig with 2mini2 and 1gat and DFs ill charge an int any day

Anyways, getting somewhat back to giga:
Remove carriers entirely for giga, and make them pay for the light drone(not a huge amount). Make sure it costs enough that the Gigas have to wait at least 1 minerload for the research and construction of carriers. For patties, giving them a bigger hitbox would also weaken their gunmounts, so be careful. Maybe half the size increase proposed, and the rest is an agility nerf. Remember, patties are supposed to be half scout/half fighter, not ubered starting fighters that cost money and only have slight weaponry nerfs.

The main problem of the patroller is the light booster.

The LtBooster does give the patty a very high traveling speed. Cruise with ~200 mps to the enemy miners/cons, and kill them. Even if your gunmounts suck a little bit, for utl crafts they're good enought...
