But it requires a player to be in the miner's turret. If you put a player in a fig defending the miners a single scout wouldn't be able to harass them either. The turret is actually even less effective because the other miners that didn't have gunners would be vulnerable. Giving miners ai turrets would be nuts I agree, but player gunned ones should be okay (and less of a code change).
