Well, let's just see what happens. Maybe they just hand this Whizszszs guy some more $$$ and miraculously another 1000 votes appear out of thin air after midnight. :-)

I submitted the following correction to MPOG regarding the description of Allegiance:

"The description of the game says that it supports up to 200 players. In reality it is 200 players per server. We often have 4-5 games running at once. I only noticed because I was reading another forum and someone commented "How big of a community could it be if only a maximum of 200 people can play"."

Yeesh, it's a neck and neck race! However, we're slightly ahead right now. Keep voting!
And lol: #3, which is some game called Dominion only has like 2659 votes at the moment. We and Entropia are trying very hard to get people, aren't we?
Nans are happy people. They fly around, give out repairs, and overall have a lot of fun. Why are we killing them when we can learn from their example?

On second thought, I loathe my old banner. I want a good one, does that mean I have to work for myself?

Dominion's doing its best without mass proxy voting, thanks.

yea, i am kinda new spawn. i played allegience way back when it first showed up but was reintroduced when i visited the voting site on a search for new games. i had actually came because of a search for Project Vistor (new version of the old game '10six') but all this controversy has got me interested in what is going on over at EU. been lurking for a while, but this thread is interesting in its own weird way. i tend to stick to the knowledge threads.

so, the answer regarding the bots is a big fat no /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> one of the only ways to actually profit in entropia without luck seems to be what is called sweating and then selling the sweat to others.. it is boring. and tedious. do i hear the call of a macro! i think i do. except i am not a programmer. boo hoo. i don't think i'd want a hunting bot. i tend to get back 80% in loot of what i go out with in ammo.

also, one more observation, it seems this wizz guy isn't even getting the real games money. seems they have some sort of forum currency they are giving him. the forum currency is valueless except by mutually agreed trade values. something like 200 to 1 (forum money to in-game money) and furthermore the in-game money is 10 to 1 (in-game to US dollar). so this guy is getting what? give him 200 forum money which equals 1 in-game dollar which equals 10 cents in US money.

QUOTE (Posted on EU forum) "Other game" people reading this:

Can you let us win February please? Short month and all that.

Thank you and no need for any hate.

Good luck to us anyway - it would be nice to win.[/quote]

...there's an interesting new thread on the EU forum that I think we all ought to read. I have to say, it raises an interesting ethical proposition. Maybe it's my church upbringing and all the church work I do (music director and all that, youth leader, etc., etc.), but when someone asks nicely, I generally say, sure, I can do that. But more than that, EU people are really passionate about this and have this sort of unsophisticated way about them, what with all their goofy smiley people everytime they vote.

Now I'm not saying that we should... but just imagine the surprise, the goodwill we'd generate if we were first to say, sure, go ahead. This month is your's and next month's, guess what, is Dominion's. We can wait a couple of months for our moment of fame.

Maybe it's because I'm always perplexed by the biblical promise that the first shall be last and the last first. So who knows? I know that we've put in a hell of a lot of work on this so far, but... hmmm?

Someone should give them some new screenshots and those sys specs can't be right... but those're the ones listed on our site too....

hm, in the course of 18 hours, we have gained 1800 votes (rough estimates.) Something tells me we (us and EU) are both going to be DQ'ed and dominion is going to be named #1 at the end of the month. EU has the player base to realistically get 100 votes/hour... we dont.
