Hey Allegiance People,
I am looking for feedback on the map I created for the Allegiance Anniversary game (this one was named AA19CircCross). The name is still a work in progress.

The change from the current one in game (above) is the map is better spread out in the screen and possibly actually works in the map screen (I am still unable to get a server working to test maps). I am particularly interested in what people did not like or had issues with the map.

Map Feedback
Hi Student,
I added a new LanServer folder under the client installation path. Please try the instructions in the readme, and let me know if you have any issues. Your map worked perfectly for the Anniversary games, and everyone enjoyed playing on it on the game I was in. Nice work!
Exit Steam and restart it. You should see an Allegiance client update happen, then you will find the new LanServer folder in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Allegiance\LanServer (if your steam is in the default location).
You can then edit maps.txt in the Artwork path (again, see the readme) to add your new maps in there for testing. You will probably need to restart both the server and game client when you change a map, but I am not 100% sure on that one.
Thanks,
-BT

Are any of the maps I made still in circulation? They used to live on the wiki and a quick check shows they're still there - https://www.freeallegiance.org/FAW/index.php/Maps
Serpentine is in circulation and is occasionally played. The last game I recall on it I went rix suprush against Ryu's OH exp. It's a fun, tight little map. I like how the "even split" of the map leaves your garrison as one of your more forward bases and the natural "push" distances are 1 sector high and to the mid.
I don't think I've ever seen Mica but it's only 2 alephs away from Constellation which is one of my least favorite maps to command on.
Pyrite and Limited Pyrite are occasionally played, I think Limited Pyrite a little more. I want to say we played a game or three on Polished Pyrite this past weekend? That map looks super close quarters.
Schist looks similar to something we play but the arrangement in f7 is a little different.
Topaz is on the list, but I'm not the biggest fan because it has the 2 "free" backsectors which is... not fun.
Granite's been played and I don't hate it.
And to my knowledge we have yet to play a game on `yz

Don't find fault, find a remedy; anybody can complain.
