The IC sup vs Rix sup/exp? That's what you qualify as "smashed"? Ok.

Don't find fault, find a remedy; anybody can complain.

But... but... what about the K/E ratiophoenix1 wrote:QUOTE (phoenix1 @ Mar 26 2018, 05:08 PM) BTW homerips as TF? How many times are you ripping home, sumv? Just rip to a miner and walk the rest of the way, or rip to a teleport and ram a nearby rock.
Some day I'm going to play belters and my homerip is literally going to be a TP that's close to another rock. I'll put a beacon next to the rock and if anyone wants to rip home they ram the rock and dock that way.

about the home tele, i rip all the time, i like to fly in circles around home sector, i'll even try to tele my int.
But i was ripping out after delaying a con plant, and someone ripped to the miner, and i got podded D_:, sad times. Plus i was laughing at the fact that Terran stated the lack of homerip as somekind of punishment for our amazing efforts.

That's an excellent point. If you podded yourself to get home your final stats after an hour might be 40/10 instead of 40/4, and how would we know how great you are in that case?SumVeritas wrote:QUOTE (SumVeritas @ Mar 26 2018, 04:01 PM) But... but... what about the K/E ratio![]()

whats the problem of the gaming lenght?TheAlaskan wrote:QUOTE (TheAlaskan @ Mar 26 2018, 09:53 PM) Storm surge wins the thread, I'm afraid.
Also, balanced here means a game that lasts about 45-60 minutes. That is what balance means.
I honestly cant see it.

Sorry, I'll elaborate because some may confuse "balance" as something that is determined by a highly subjective rationale for whether or not a game was competitive and enjoyable for all players.
This is wrong.
Balance is easily defined by a temporal unit. What transpires during the elapsed time of the game matters not. The effect in which core selection has matters not. If we simply play the game for a specific measure of time, we can achieve balance.
All efforts for a ranking system should be perceived through such a prism.
One does not simply sort players into an even distribution of talent to achieve balance. Instead we throw players together, wait for 60 minutes of gametime, then all chant 'balance' together on discord.
