mods dont work ?

I had textures on

so turned textures off . No change

open in new window to see Full size pic.

this is what is in alleg artwork folder

yet in game I have the default one ?

p.s . Why cant we choose 1 in game like the hud ??

I rebooted windows checked the file again in mdlutility2

the man is in there , But in game it is not WTF ?

it has to be Steam . I hate Steam

I wonder if your registry is pointing somewhere else...

In the windows search thingy, type in regedit and hit enter. Then hit F3 and search for CombatX look in that split window for your art path...see if it matches your file location.

Do you have both ACSS Allegiance and Steam Allegiance installed and you're changing files in the ACSS Alleg directory instead of the Steam Alleg directory?

worked for me...

Do another registry search for CombatX and see if you find one under HKEY LOCAL MACHINE, if so, delete the allegiance 1.4 folder. The only registry setting for allegiance should be under HKEY CURRENT USER. Afterward, go to your steam artwork and delete it and it's contents (save your inputmap file first), then relaunch the game so that it downloads everything fresh. Then copy over the reticule file to your artwork folder.
