Bump

Im still having this issue. There seems to be a timer running.
if I log out of the game and restart 5 mins later, i can join another server.
Does this make any sense?

running Steam is admin seems to have solved the issue

This error message corresponds to the following steam error code: k_EAuthSessionResponseVACCheckTimedOut

Googling for that error message makes it seem that it can come up for some reasons:
- Steam's VAC is unable to do its job, try running steam in administrator mode, or maybe just restarting steam.
- Steam's VAC is unable to report (Bad connection? Good enough to be logged in, but some of its communication is having problems)

Have you tried running Steam as Admin?
