Latest Firefox version, logon warning for this forum

Suggestions, problems regarding the site and other community facilities.

Latest Firefox complains about passwords send in cleartext, risk of being intercepted. Anyway, the auto logon for this forum needs an additional step.

Yeah it is even more obvious in Chome since a month or two ago. I did some poking around and think I got all the forum components changed to https. Browser warnings will still show on pages due to not using https on signature images, but otherwise I think everything is working.

Only 1.7% of our visitors using WinXP and more than 50% are using Firefox... :P

A former Very Senior Admin got into tons of problems when he wrote a Gigacorp bombing manual, and later applied for a weapon permit. Yes, even on an innocent space shooter gaming forum. It took him ages to find the culprit. It certainly does not hurt to put the forum behind HTTPS.
