are there ever GAMES THAT HAPPEN!?
Well part of the problem is we just kept chain commanding against each other. I see I took more than I gave so to speak, not a great day for me I guess XD I'm hoping to do less commanding this sunday, I'd prefer to just command 3-4 games on both Saturday and Sunday so I can keep up this daily series, but you never know.

Don't find fault, find a remedy; anybody can complain.

Game 6:
?Terran@Alleg (Rix Tac) vs Phoenix1 (Dreg Bbrs)
Game recap:
P32 and company murdered miners while I gunned down scouts. Saw the tac go up right next to where I wanted my sup, team seemed confused that I wanted a sup so close to "their sector" (which at the time was right next to a Refinery? So I dunno maybe they'd rip a bbr to their refinery?). Bombed the tac. Won the game.
Lessons Learned:
1) P32 and his ilk are broken.
2) Defending against SRs and Rix Figs isn't impossible it just requires a couple of dedicated int whores and a nan or two.
3) Terran REALLY enjoys his basic tac.

Game 7:
AlbusDumblenig (Rix Adv Exp/Adv Tac) vs Phoenix1 (OH Adv Exp/Adv Tac)
Game recap:
This was the twofor where the first game was actually just the usual TF stomping of Rix. Done, done, and next game in 7 minutes. In the next game, it was the P32 stack (Exile and Djole following P32 as per usual) against my team of mostly tagalongs and also Terran. We're, um, "blessed" with a singular U rock which I build on to get mini2 ints up ASAP and have Terran guard them in an int while I order the rest of the team to attack miners. I got greedy sending all four miners in and Terran was overwhelmed by the sheer number of SR scouts in the sector. We lose the one full miner, a very sade turn of events, but our tac does come up. During this time they get an op at where I had intended to origianly build my tac so I plant the tac short and push an op to their op to give both sides similar map control, though Rix side's a little better, and Rix is a lot better at long-range miner hunting. This descends into a game of cat and mouse where my team sprints around trying to kill miners and Dumblenig's team sprints around actually killing miners, but through it we end up with hvy ints at about the same time. Babs and Wasp (Buttman) have now joined the Rix team and Dome would join shortly later. The sheer lack of dogfighting talent on my team causes huge problems for us throughout the rest of the game and we end up losing in the face of superior whores in superior ships.
Lessons Learned:
1) Assign a second int to chase SRs on miner D.
2) If you're one of the top int pilots on your team and commanding, you *do* have to get your hands dirty.
3) P32's antics are curbable and you can stop him, but it takes a bit of dedication and willingness to get your hands dirty.
4) I have to be less afraid to get early bombers for base clearing, using our mini2 int advantage to int bomb the right choke, for example, and then pushing the op con and bombing from there could have won us the game. Since I was planning to go SBs either way, when I got bbrs was largely an academic choice since the money was committed from the minute my tac came out.
Overall, I'd have to say this was the best of the games that I commanded (not that I commanded it the best, but it was the best game). That being said, Dumblenig really needs to learn to close out a game. I basically paydayed adv tac waiting for him to end it
