Wow, not sure what brought me here but it's pretty amazing that all this exists. It says a lot of very positive things about the community around the game that it has developed into such a nurturing and encouraging environment. I haven't played since a few months after the official release if I remember correctly, but the beta period made Allegiance probably my favorite game ever. I remember my first big game with 128 players, lasting hours and hours. We had to constantly invent new strategies and techniques on the fly, some of which the developers would leave the developers shaking their head about where that came from. The game has a ton of great ideas, some of which haven't been emulated effectively even now 15 years later. Here's to Allegiance, it's community, and it's developers.
As a side note, is this the official working project for FreeAllegiance: https://github.com/ImagoTrigger/FreeAllegiance ? I only saw four commits over the last year but didn't see any other FreeAllegiance repos. If that isn't the official one, does anyone have a link to the original source available for forking?
Allegiance was released today, 15 years ago!

30... I was just a little older when I started playing Alleg.
I was thinking about you and Rob1479, I think you were about the youngest regulars. Are KevK & R2K playing anything?
