OHHHHH I JUST GOT AN IDEA....that I'm guessing is too hard to code....what if you could build a pair of constructors that when built formed an aleph connection? Kind of like two tps, but undestructable and useable by both sides.

that idea is soo old.

there was also the destroying alephs / making them un-usable for a certain time

That seems a little beachbally to me. AME is very simple once you get use to it. The main problem is coming up with new ideas that haven't already been done.

So I've been playing. Here's my 1st one

The Eye

I tried to go for a HiHigher take on Polished Diamond. One of my goals was to mirror hihigher's mix of connectivity and protected sectors, which I think the Diamond maps make a little too hard. I've been dickering some over the middle: whether i ought to have another sector and how it should be connected.

OutsideIn

I'm sure that in the history of Allegiance, someone else has used that name. I tried to change the connectivity a little bit (one of my ideas for the middle) and move around the home sectors as to make it a little iron-diamondy without making it enormous. The enemies' home is always 2 sector away, and a choke is always 3 sectors away. Still fussing over the middle connectivity.

At first I thought, "Wow, those are big!" But after counting, there are only 2 more sectors than the two most popular maps. But nice /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Took the center out and left the top and bottom (center) unconnected, cool. I like it.

rename "OutsideIn" to "OutSeyedIn" to keep with the "The Eye" thing
