I'm a new player to Allegiance practising offline for now so I won't bother any vets online with my noobiness. I got attracted to this game when I read about it online and thought it sounded like a first-person DotA/LoL space simulator.

Any tips/useful reads/sites some of you recommend for someone looking to improve their skills? :)

Hi and welcome to Allegiance.

In case you missed: http://www.freeallegiance.org/FAW/index.ph...ck_Crash_Course

No reason not to practice online, just join up and someone will help you. Big games are on Sundays (20:00 UTC) and during workdays we get small games going somewhere around 20:00-23:00 UTC.

If you want to learn how to command you can log on and create a game that just has 1 team. You can practice the tech tree, then. As well as getting the feel for flight.
