The site http://www.softwaredownloads.org/ is whining about Icon size...don't know how important it is.

PAD URL: http://downloads.alleg.net/PAD/FreeAllegiance.xml

Notice: You are advised to adopt the PADmap protocol and to specify your PADmap URL in your PAD files using PADmap extension for PADGen.

---------------->Warning Warning(s) reported:

Icon image http://asgs.alleg.net/asgsnet/Images/logo.gif should be 32x32 pixels as required in PAD specification and NOT 393x94! Please provide an appropriate icon image or leave blank!

Thank you for your submission, it has been successfully added to the pending submissions list.

OK, I am slowly working my way through the sites that I have already submitted to since Dec. 2011 to see how many older ones need updating. I'd like some you upper class men types to have a look at this and give me you're thoughts on it. It would personally save me a lot of work. They also allow a 30 day free trial. There is a good chance,though, that there will be a large surge of players which may over load the servers.

Looking at that I'd say go with the basic package and see how it goes over the next week. I wouldn't worry too much about a sudden influx of players, just people looking for this type of game will be able to find it easier. It's 30 day free trial so either way you can stop it, if it becomes a pain or a flop. If it's going to save time and hassle, do it. :thumbsup:

OK, well I'm going to hold off until October as I'm going to be real busy until then.Also, I'm sure our PAD e-mail will be flooded, so I'd like some Admin input first.

Cool. It should give those who need, the time to prepare appropriate measures, just in case of an influx of player. I think it will have a positive effect on the player-base, but yes Admin input is needed people. I'm looking forward to it. :biggrin:
