mdl files
How can I take a look at inputmap1.mdl to see if I have overwritten the default with the free hands mdl? I cannot seem to be able to make a game with one player to test the file that way. I couldn't disable the other team function. It seems not to have a one option.

Disabling the second team requires the game to be one that's created from the lobby; the games with the blue highlight don't allow empty teams. Then in the team screen, you can uncheck the tick-boxes next to the teams to disable them.
A possible alternative is the training missions; I think they use inputmap1.mdl (they do in the upcoming version, not sure about the current release). Jump into training mission 6 (or whichever one is the the dogfighting/combat mission) and test it there.

I have discovered that I cannot dl any keybinding files from the wiki. DL doesn't work. Skutch's takes me to an outdated page. Steadyhands, or whatever shows me a page of parameters but there is no download.

Ah yes, skutch's uploads are 404ing for me too. That page of parameters for steadyhands is the download - right-click the link and select "save link as" (or whatever the equivalent is in your browser).
