During high school I got caught in a WoW phase where I basically stopped sleeping - was busy grinding levels. WoW-oriented hallucinations ensued. I specifically remember slamming on my brakes and shouting "HOLY $#@! IT'S A GEOMANCER" one day while I was driving. It was not a geomancer. It was just a reflection.
I remember when I was heavy into Alleg, I would be quasi-asleep at school and trying to calculate the overall GA effect of random stuff like... my textbook.

There was a time where ramming the car ahead of me seemed like a sensible way to make it go faster, if I had been playing Allegiance recently.

It wasn't until like 2003 that people started to realize the advantages of ramming bombers.

The other day I was watching a Let's Fly Allegiance video on youtube in fullscreen because I don't know why, and when he docked without thinking I started moving my mouse and pressing keys for command view and ship loadout.
Freaking muscle memory.
