Thank you for posting in a new thread.
I think the whole concept would belong into a fresh core. We have RPS with ubertech, where you don't last a second, maybe we need another core, where you dont kill in less than a minute. GoDII is not about reinventing the way Allegiance is played, it is about balancing the finer details.

Would it not be quite easy to make a copy of your core and then double the hitpoints. Then we can all try it out.

need to double all scan ranges and half all sigs perhaps if we removed all guns, missiles and mines. give all ships 1 hp, you've got to kill your enemy by making them ram your probes

So now the four hour game that never seems to end due to lack of teamwork and people just DMing will last longer because they take longer to kill each other? Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

At the very least would serve as a good core to practice your aiming.
