Great time for brand new players too!

A little bit more than just announcing some random time and random name of activity would be great. Like I mean try to get a poll when people can play get people actively discussing the games get something that would make the game special. Your idea of commander battles was reasonable now that people knew they would have 2 good comms facing each other and it would be good game but this even is like any other pug just with a name attached.

This is just a PuG with a name attached, the simplicity is; more people will be on if everyone gets on together. You dont have to have a gimmick to play, just know other people are playing.

So I can expect some lame comm vs lame comm and 2 extra voobs that read the announcement? Thanks I have better use of my time the comm event that he made was fun that we knew we had good match in commanders this hardly appeals as anything different from any other time during the game

We decided this time based in part on Fwiffos player base calculator. Further, this 'event' will be advertised by all squad leaders to their squads. Further, this is already being advertised on facebook with a link for new players to FAO. And this will be a recurring event.

Also what Max said, it's a simple tool to get people to think about logging in if you know other people might/will be logging in as well. Thanks for your support Stinker! and thanks to Maximus for another awesome banner on short notice.

Why then not find and pre set 2 commanders? So people have more motivation to join the game besides just the promise that everyone else will listen? I no saying that I am against I just see more potential if you add more reason to join during that time. You risk getting a game that has stacked commander like any other medium sized pug on saturday

We do that as well, as you've seen. Trying this out too.

Among other reasons, this format eliminates the possibility of one or both predetermined commanders bowing out due to previously unforeseen time conflict.

We will definitely have more commander vs commander games coming up as well. Hope to see you in game Stinkertod.

Can someone supersize stinkertods meal please and on his way through the drive through, change out his battered Toyota for a Lamborghini or Ferrari of his choice. What more could you ask for right?

Good idea guys. I am sure from the pool the best comms can be found assuming people have some basic level of reasoning. Barring that I'll take next best just so I can get some game time.

really? which one? cuz if you ask me, friday is probably "the" worst day of all days in the week for a game. and this is based on experience, supported by data collected.

if you looked at the graphs, they wont tell you anything about which specific day of the week is better to log in, except for saturday and sunday which are graphed separately. your only hope is to look at the information in the table format which was my first crack at determining player's online pattern.

you can see a week's worth of data... friday's just visible in the first column if you go click it now. if you look at this tm, then the graph will automagically shift and last friday's data wont be visible anymore
