So you Allegiance player people seem to enjoy number crunching type games and other complicated thought intensive activities. So...

Would you like to play a PBEM (Play by email) game with me?
Game is called 'Emperor of the Fading Suns' if you haven't already guessed. And it is a '4x Turn Based Strategy Game' released in 1996. It plays similar to Panzer General, except there are over 30 planets, each with their own hexagonal map to wage war on.

I even made a Steam Group!
Search for 'Fading Suns'. Group name is name of game. Contains links and things...

Max number of players for a game is 5. Already have 2 so only 3 slots open.

How do you resize pics in the [img] tags?
I tried this, [img style=height:100px]path/to/image.png[/img]
...and this, [img width=X height=Y]<IMAGE URL>[/img]

No joy.

I adored this game and have tried to play through it even just once, like on 4 separate occasions. On 4 different machines.

But eventually the game just sort of breaks and can't process the turn. I dunno if this problem would occur via PBEM.

I just got through with my first PBEM game. I played it with an old friend. No hiccups in terms of crashing that I recall.

The link I provided works fine on Windows7 without any emulation.

Just go ahead and test play it now and decide. We haven't started yet and still need 2 more players. And we're all newbs, except maybe me kinda.
