Just thought I would throw this out there. I haven't even done a practice mission yet (see introduction thread) but if you're unable to play due to lack of players and willing to train, I wouldn't mind skipping the offline training and going for hands on with a vet. Just an idea!
The training missions are quick, you can do them in a few minutes really.
What you basically need to do, is get the basic movement controls down. After that, get in game and keep your head down for a bit, we'll be happy to help you learn.
I like this guy already. I hope he's still around when I come off of sabbatical.
