That moment, call me a nerd but, when you get a strange adrenaline rush from decimating a whole team, or that impulsive smile from stopping something big by yourself, those dogfights that end in 0% hull and one defeated interceptor, killing a miner under a heavy escort, sccccouuutttttt whooooorrrrinnnngggggggg (Killing multitudes of people with a scout, IE: Podding 3 other scouts and killing an OP con by yourself)

Oh yeeeeeeeeah. Forgot about that. I got all wrapped up in recording the album and it completely left my mind. :(

Thickskind is no more BTW. I don't work in the music industry anymore. Now I am working on my PhD.

Having read your paper on the shining path kumy I think you are a good candidate if it is in any field related to that
I'm sorry I don't remember any of it. For you the day spideycw graced your squad with utter destruction was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Sunday

My apologies.

Yeah. PhD is in Political Science. Major is International Relations, Minor Law, with my focus and eventual thesis on international drug policy.

You would have liked my project last semester. It was using modifications to drug policy to destroy funding for Narco-Terrorists.

Current project I am working on is a broad overview of HIV transmission and how to use drug policy to lessen infection rates with a case study done on Portugal.

I would have to look around Veggy. I am sure I got some @#(! somewhere but that acoustic one was a one off.

Yes! These are all what I was referring to as "hero" moments. It's when you do something that you KNOW was pretty $#@!in' badass, and anybody watching knew was pretty $#@!in' badass. Alleg has this is spades... lots of other competetive online games really don't. Lots of them are very isolated things.

Those years from 2006-2009 were the best. I remember the excitement of getting up early on a Monday before school and playing some SGs only to get mercilessly crushed. I remember playing Alleg pretty much constantly, neglecting my studies (still made it into Uni in the 9rth percentile) and whoring all these alleged "VETS" like the dogs they are.

TS was so fun, staying up late chatting to noobs like aarm, Noir, Veggy, Blake, Ozzy, Gooeyfish, Masta and Spidey when I was a teenager and didn't know any better, good forum rants, real drama that inevitably led to the downfall of the playerbase...so good.

SUP VEGGYFISH!

I remember thinking, damn this game is so great, the gameplay is so complex and intricate, when development really picks up this will be the best free game out! Sadly, it was another case of Arrested Development syndrome. The reality is Allegiance flies way over the heads of the new tween gamer demographic when you have more accessible titles like LoL and Team Fortress 2.

Probably my most memorable game was playing against aarm and Weed who were whoring the absolute @#(! out of our team with me only a few kills behind El Weedo, trying to take his and aarm's 47 or so KBs but the butt buddies were always watching each other's back. When I finally cornered the aarm and vanquished him, Weed pops out of nowhere and blasts me. I think I actually screamed on TS.

Other fun memories were tagging along with Masta's new harebrained scheme to exploit the latest cheese and stomping a half dozen pubs with it until people caught on. First it was Rix Hvy Scout Rush, then Noir ended THAT fun. Then PT Bombers (Psych and me blowing @#(! out of the AIR), the only ship Masta can actually whore in, WE GOT SNAKEZ with Veggy and Shadowfoxx, triple Mini-AC Vanguards with Hyperboost that decreases signature so it looks like they're warping around in space, Phoenix HTTs with dual Laser turrents, SO MUCH CHEESE.

Oh, when they discovered TP2 XRM2 Hvy Bomber runs and how ridiculously broken they are, it finally let me cultivate the most elite set of TP2 skillz ever seen.

I agree that Noir did so much for this game. His servers were awesome, even back in Oz, his balance philosophy was fresh and interesting (perk everything until it's uber) and his REFUSAL to command were a never ending fountain of comedy.

Veggy! I'll have to eat at your Denny's one day if I'm ever in the dankest part of America dude.

I had little involvement with the phx cheese but all the other things listed yes I am directly responsible for the nerfs they received
although pt bbrs haven't really been nerfed yet since nobody can use them still.
