Sweet Gandy, I'm really gutted that I've missed this time around.
Should/better be a $#@!ing good game tomorrow.
Rugby 6 Nations 2012 Predictions
In other news, at 42 I played a game of over 35 masters rugby Fri night.
Some mates convinced me that I didnt need to warm up that it is not serious enough to warrant it.
I warmed up anyway as I have plantar fasciitis and thank god I did. It was brutal.
Anyone thinking of returning for a game, I would recommend it though, but treat it seriously. Mosty of the guys playing are very competent, just older and slower.

I turned out for the thirds when they were short a couple of years ago.
I seriously thought I was going to have a stroke at one point. The next day I have blanked from my mind, I don't think anyone has ever ached so much.
Chasing a load of Colts & twenty something first teamers on their way back from injuries is a recipe for old mens wives collecting life insurance. The only consolation was the bloke who talked me into it was ten years older than me, and he told me that he actually cried the next day. Good, bastard.
I play vet Sunday league football in & out, but in goal, and I am not the oldest on the field so I have no excuse.

Well playing first team rugby myself & 25, my feelings go out to you ducky. I do love them games with the older generation run rings around you guys!
Although playing first team rugby in a pretty decentish league, I much prefer second team run outs.
At the stage now thinking I'm getting to old for this crap ha!

I only saw the last 20 mins of the England-France game but I would say it's up there with Wales-Ireland as gmae of the competition.refill wrote:QUOTE (refill @ Mar 11 2012, 06:58 PM) Well that was a good game.
Best of luck to all with your predictions for the final weekend. All 3 matches are fairly tough to call. I am very much hoping for REVENGE against the pesky French & a deserved grand slam for the Welsh.
It's Ion's title to lose and he only needs 14 points to set an all-time record, surely he can't screw it up now? Or can he?! Was mildly amused that everyone went for a France win last week, if someoe had gone for England they would've made quite a leap in the standings.
