why do DMs count for ELO?

they are a completely different type of game to conquest, someone's skill at winning a normal conquest match is probably different to their skill at winning a DM..

prober's don't win DMs

Because artifact games count, too?

well, they shouldn't.

elo should only be counted for conquest games.

conquest
dm
artifacts
flags
prosperity
other random setting

are all completely different styles of game

having a high elo in conquest does not mean you are necessarily good at DM or artifacts.

having a high elo from being good at chess does not mean you own in a game of football or a dogfight in jet fighters.

ether only make elo count for conquest, or have a conquest ELO a DM elo a artifacts ELO a prosperity ELO...

And high skill at Technoflux does not mean you are good with GigaCorp. Please read, and understand, Bayes' Theorem and its import at abstracting data.

that only really applys for coms

a good allegiance player is good with all factions.

not being good with some will lower their elo because they are not as good as someone who is good at all of them.

the player who is good with all factions is a better player than the person who is good with only a few.

Ok, I completely understand how your rank changes based on your score.

What i dont understand is how your score is calculated.

How many points do you get for each scored action?

What does this mean?

WRONG. wrong. WRONG. wrong.

When you necro like this, expect things to be out of date. We are no longer using the ELO system.
