Hello, Allegiance Community!

I used to play this game 4 or so years ago, back in.. wow.. early high school. Jeez. That feels like a long time ago now.

Either way, I used to play kind of off peak due to me being Australian and whatnot, and I used to annoy people. Alot. And I do mean alot. Well, maybe, I don't think I was hated so much as tolerated (Barely

.) But that's okay, my 5 year younger self annoys my currently much more mature self (Now into my second year at university, but I guess that'd still make me young compared to most here.)

Either way though, this is a post in the Allegiance forums, and I'd like to talk about Allegiance!

First up, congratulations on steady numbers for 4 years, the amount of actives really hasn't changed all that much, it's certainly not a dead game. Even noticed a new squad that seems to be doing well! My old one died, but that isn't a surprise to me

. After all, I made the banners and I was TERRIBLE at Photoshop then, people probably flee'd from the horror that was the clan banner.

But I really made this post to ask how the community and game are really faring, how many people are still around from 07 and 08, and what changes have been made since then.

Some small corrections: Playerbase has actually decreased a lot, largely due to people like me who don't really play anymore (sorry). Current numbers are around 400 actives, which is quite a bit less than the peak. Luckily, people are working on ways to fix this (Not in that 10 page thread where everyone is huffing and puffing, but in the development forum).

On that same note, the new squad is actually a merger between two old squads that were running low on actives: ACE and SRM.

Well, overall that's not too bad a decrease for 4 years, considering the game is so old. What plans are there? I heard talk of an Allegiance 2 when I was playing last.

I remember Community Core starting up when I was playing, so yeah, I can see how it could be classed as vapour ware after such a long development cycle.

What are you guys doing to get fresh meat in?
