Currently I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. When I try to load in a commercial (bought) DVD with TV shows on it, it won't read/play. It "loads" then skips to the very end (end of play message)...hear it running in the drive though...
Any suggestions? (And don't send me to windows site, that damn troubleshooter @#(! they give doesn't work)
Edit - Just downloaded WinDVD trail...works playing the DVD but don't want to pay 40 bucks if windows is able to do this stupidity..

I've also noticed that some DVDs (or DVD menus) don't work correctly with Windows Media Player/Center. VLC plays them fine.

I tried using VLC before and just didn't like it...i think there were just too many options to play with that i'm like, i don't know what to do... and the CCCP one looks too commie for me..=P
