As in change the Caption/Keywords in IPTC then in Windows details choose to view Title/Subject
Yeah, I tried that but for some reason it doesn't show under title/subject. *shrugs*

Whatever, she's happy with this solution, so I'm done! :iluv:

Stopped right here. Story is too over the top to be believable.

Or he could use a multiple file re-name utility. You re-name 1 file "StateFair2011" and it truncates the rest.

I suggested that first, but she shot it down immediately because then "they wouldn't sort properly".

She's quite particular about her archiving.

TMI
metadata, its a bitch.
do yourself a favor, put fotos through at least one program to lose the exif
data, your apple iphone 3g left gps data in the exif metadata
great for proving to the insurance company when and where you took the picture.
(except of course if you fake the metadata)
and fuzz the plate and car dealership plate frame.
Why?
Think of it as data hygiene.

Of course all of us here in this forum are your friends, but as a practice,
you may want to limit the amount of excess data you spray onto the web.

This world we live in, with cell phone triangles and now gps stamps on pictures
is a $#@!ing NSA wet dream.
If anyone says
Yes yes we all have nothing to hide so why should I bother etc. etc.
Well then, I wasn't talking to you.

Wow you geeked me at hello HJKG.......

Another trinket to research in my desire to be come a Security expert.
