Serious keyboard issues during gameplay

Then it lets me choose to check online or close the program. If I click to check online it shows itself to look busy for 3 seconds or so and then closes anyway

You can also open up task manager and look for any programs that might be stealing focus there.

Perhaps something related to this also I'll be reporting this as a bug, If I alt tab out of the game (windows 7) and then return to game I lose most of my keyboard functionality. I have to hit the escape key go into game and accept the current keyboard changes to reinitialize the keyboard to my liking.
