OHHHH man.

My first ever Massively Multiplayer Online game.

I played it from 1999 until just before I started here.

I have SO much love for that game.

We had some UO action for a while just after I joined RT. After a while we all dropped out except Cort, who'd been dutifully maintining his roof garden for months after, harvesting crops, seeding and watering as if there weren't a single sword or spell or shot fired in anger in the entire game.

you gotta admire that.

Well, almost. More like 25% in my case. Having fun playing with my teenage boys now who were just toddlers when the beta first came out. Anybody remember the "Core Group" of beta testers? Ahhh...the good old days :-)

I wasn't one of the beta testers - or even one of the original groups that played the game when it was initially released. But there are a few still kicking around from that group. (or claim to be :P )

Yea, I only played in the free zone when it first came out. Too stingy to pay for AZ.
