I've just had a thought involving trees falling over in woods.
Allegiance is dead when there is no body left to reply "no it isn't".
Which also means that if someone does correctly declare that "Allegiance is dead" nobody will actually observe them being correct, so all they will have done is waste their time posting on an empty internet forum.
Thus "Allegiance is dead" posts have the curious property of being correct only if they are not observed, and become false when observed. (Unlike a tree falling over which makes air molecules vibrate regardless of whether anyone is there to notice them moving or not).
