Wyrsa wants to connect from a secured university intranet. I already gave him a link to slove issues.

The only way getting out of the intranet is using a proxyserver or a vpn tunnel (which would be the only solution to get Allegiance working).

The history of open-source Allegiance is paved with the bodies of dead code branches, forum flame wars, and personal vendettas. But a community remains because people still love the game.

That is the idea, I tried to stick to english for everyone else. Wasn't snippy at the helpful way they told me to trace route and everything. I am a gamer so I know some networking stuff, just not the weird stuff.

Anyways, I'll post if it works or not in about 15 hours or so... so I guess I am stuck playing SFCx and Motherlode or something. :glare:

Cool

I always provide the step-by-step for pinging and tracing stuff, as there is no way to know if the person I'm trying to help knows how to do that - if they can, they can just ignore it, otherwise it saves time :)

Agreed.

Ok, so far it has taken me this long to get credentials for the VPN... now I get an error with the Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client. :(

I can't figure out how to enable cookies in it... if it needs them to log in why isnt it automatic?

EDIT: I reinstalled... now I get this error.

Login failed: Misconfigured client - Please check your realm!

wtf is a realm?
