If you feel like this can wait a few months, I think making bases take preference over players in the chat auto-completer (code change) wouldn't be too hard.

Koln there is nothing stopping a person from making a callsign called Garrison, or supremacy (there are some supremacy's I think actually) etc.. so what are you going to do then?
Cort's idea would be good if it were not for the buggers who name themselves after bases and then the problem becomes from trying to send your miner to base to sending a command to attack/goto/etc a certain player.
