...figured

just wanted to pass along a nifty tester that was just recently passed along to me. Didn't mean to imply you had any problem diagnosing hardware.

No offense meant.
[15:25] <BBT_> oh, so da vinci's mona lisa isn't his work?
[15:25] <+fuh-zz> No, he simply put effort into it.
[15:25] <BBT_> are you really that retarded?

My joystick has 16 "buttons" and an 8 way (4 buttons, 3 4-way HATs, and an 8 way HAT, technically) but I've never had any trouble with it. It didn't come with it's own driver, it runs off of base windows game controller drivers.

If I can find time, I'll test the next release out and ensure all of my buttons work.
If I run into trouble, I'll post my directinput.log.

the forums must be running especially fast for bard today as well, it seems.

i was hoping it was somethign simple like a too small of a buffer...but then you have to come in and rain on my (not gay) parade.

No changes on build 216 release 752... Down, right, roll right still won't work.

so your joystick works fine in R5 but not in R6? do you have any stupid registry entries or settings for deadzone?
