Can we have an stealth craft that can 'take over' another factions ship?

i.e. it would rely on stealth and be able to 'capture' enemy craft like,
adv fig, sbs, htt, corvettes, bombers, miner?

mash,

while you're at it, it can be a capship that can "grapple" miners, cons, small caps et cetera. Then you need to bring them to your SY (might be a problem if they have nukes).

just a crazy thought.

A simple tractor beam that worked like a backwards ram that deals no damage on particle impact would be interesting... Just use the damage as the "mass" of the ram and you'd only have to set a flag (Aside from doing the code to actually set it up, obviously) on the weapon somehow. Faster RoF would mean a faster pull, while a higher damage would be a more powerful pull.

I may have just revived my interest in Alleg

Larger ships could use it to suck in power-ups and missiles and ammo dropped for them by scouts. :P Tractor beam turrents!

But you know, it's only really worth it if you can get it to work on asteroids. -_-
