You would have to uninstall it the reinstall it and make sure the firewall option isn't checked. If it is checked, uncheck it so it doesn't install the firewall component.

Also: do you have any remnants or Mcaffee or Norton on your computer?
I'm sorry I don't remember any of it. For you the day spideycw graced your squad with utter destruction was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Sunday

You don't even need a software firewall if you're behind a router. (A router is the equivalent of a hardware firewall (which is better imho) unless you've laid it wide open - ie put your computer in a DMZ.)

Hmm, so the easiest way for me is to uninstall and then reinstall avast without it's built in Firewall. I hope it works ^^
