Fixed it.

i tried to test this tonight (have the X52). used the 511 executed from the beta folder, started a game and crashed on launch from base multiple times.

Here are the debug files created from that build (last one in this thread):

DirectInput.log:
http://pastebin.com/m4552467

DeviceCreation.log:
http://pastebin.com/m16720c3c

VideoSettings.log:
http://pastebin.com/m2075a23b

Not sure what else I can do while on beta server, since I can't use ASGS debug capabilities.

If it helps, I had the same problem with build 511 on Wine as well. I wasn't trying to test for the x52 or anything.

For example because it isn't stable enough and people with the Intel 945 like RealPandemonium couldn't play at all then.

Also because people have lives. I should have a bit more time in mid January.

The above link leads to a 404 error currently ...

I don't suppose there is anywhere this fix is currently available? I'm just try to setup Alleg again after a while away, and me ol' X52 ain't working, and this thread appeared to resemble the symptoms of my problem.

Firestorm (another gaytek owner) and I fixed it a month or two ago, but the management here sucks so the update hasn't been released yet. :ninja:
