-----------------------------------------------------------
League Game SRM vs BS on #Solap - 17/01/2010:

monkage@srm (Blue/IC/Adv.Exp) [sett] vs ryjamson@bs (Yellow/IC/Exp-Tac) [map]

map: Limited-Diamond

Gamesize: 16vs15
Duration: 75min
Map: Limited-Diamond
Sett: low/low / res:normal / sy:on

-----------------------------------------------------------
Summary:

- SRM pushes op high next to their home but con d leaves and kills miner low, so op con dies.
- BS pushes op low but SRM's miner-o gets back in time to kill it before it plants.

- SRM plants tele short high next to exp rock.
- BS plants tele at low choke next to exp rock.

- SRM plants tele Delgon and op short low for miner o

- SRM sends 2nd op high but con d fizzles and it dies as I redirect it to plant short at choke.
- At some point BS gets op under high choke in Yavin (I think right around the time our 2nd con died, not sure)

- BS gets 2nd tech (tac) in Velantia, but Phalanxe rapes most of the sfs coming for miners and SRM's econ rolls to Adv.Exp.
- BS's econ grinds to a halt when SRM kills 2 miners simultaneously at low choke.

- SRM holds BS's econ down and starts successful hvy.int bombing beginning with exp at low choke, then Yavin (so we could keep mining).
- BS gets replacement exp in middle above low choke, but after securing low choke and forward sectors with ops, SRM rolls through both tac and exp then on to garr for the win.

Result: » SRM wins

gg. ty bs.

No one has said this yet, but why Low Low in a squadgame?
Next one then...why dual tech?

Lastly, had you stayed belts on low/low with treasures on...would have been interesting....for my money, that choice had the edge.

Just interested in BS' take on those sets and choices.
