People who want to command

not completely true!

A good commander will be able to take a mediocre team and turn it into a good team. He can take a good team and turn it into a great team. He can take a great team and make it amazing.

A bad commander can take a mediocre team and lose. He can take a good team and make it mediocre and they won't have fun if they do win, and they never get great teams because the great players know better then to join him, or if they do it's to mutiny him. Bad commanders can take the plan a good team has and screw it up because they don't understand the basic mechanics of the game (IE - a good team goes and kills all the enemy miners without prompting, stops bomb runs and defends the team's miners, and the BAD com will buy bombers to "bomb the enemy" when they have adv tech. Sometimes when I command I am stuck with a great team who like gui said who go out and pro-actively seek and destroy the other team's miners and defend the miners and thus pretty much win the game while im stuck being the guy in the base who can't even bring about any good commanding apart from pushing ops and tele's and telling the team what tech we are going which makes the command victory very hollow

Compared to the other games where you are fighting for every inch and as a commander have to formulate the plans which will bring about your victory and as a commander you actually give the game winning orders which aren't so vague as the previous one of "Attack Miners" "Defend Miners" "Great game, how about a rematch?".

You tend to repeatedly send bomb run after bomb run against mini2 or mini3 ints/hints instead of buying adv tech. Yep, you sure are a great comm all right. And this thread indicates that your judgment under pressure is horrible. Also, comparing yourself to Spidey? Really? If you think you'd be as good as him if you only booted more people, then why don't you boot people instead of whining about how you're a good comm like Spidey (lol) and people just need to open their eyes and realize it?

Because whining about "why doesn't anyone like me!??!!" on the forums is certainly the best way of getting people to respect you again. Instead of blaming all your failings on the stack, why don't you stop to think about why the stack develops in the first place? Obviously, people don't like you or they don't like flying for you. Why don't they want to join your team? Instead of complaining that people should fly under commanders they think are terrible, why don't you figure out why people think you're terrible, and then FIX IT? What you're doing now is admitting that you realize that no one likes you, and saying you don't care and they should fly under you anyway because _________. You're free to come up with something better than "I'd win if I had stack" to put in that blank, btw, because you have yet to provide a compelling reason why anyone should listen to you.

Jimen is an idoit and has no clue why I made this post which is clear I should not have. Your opinion doesnt matter unless you yourself command. And according to your stats yous 0 and 1 unless you fly under another name. I dont disagree that bombing over and over is a smart thing but at that point it was bomb or resign. After 8 miners is was clear we wouldnt get adv tech up. And who knows, sometimes you get lucky with a bomb run.

And in no way do I think im close to spidey, you idiot

To clarify my point,

Instead of sitting hours everyday in he lobby waiting for someone to step up and command, it would be nice if we could play a game once in a while.

My appeal to this community is simple, help a brother out. yes fly for me and others like me. Give gentle advice so we become better commanders. Im not saying I will take EVERY piece of advice from everyone who gives it to me. But I am open to your opinion.

So give me a chance:)

ryj is sorta like starfire - both been around for 9 years, both sucks, and both whine their asses off. you know Jimen is right, and he's also been around a fraction of the time you have and i'd take him over you anytime. seriously quit whining about good comms getting stacked vs you when you'll join them over yiggz anytime.

PS perhaps if we move this to rants we will have more drama? it's so $#@!ing boring around here
