Ditto for l1ngus AFAIK. I think he just didn't want to be in BS anymore, so he asked us, and we accepted him. (btw are you accusing every member who left BS to join another squad within a month, "recruited" ???)

Now he has gone to DSM with no hard feelings, he wanted a new adventure! In general though, squads not doing so well or have problems -> people want to leave, and squads doing well -> people want to join them (see Shiz' post). Hardly any of our pilots have left to join other squads in the last 3 years and there's more than one reason for that - one is our relative success though. TBH I think a squad is better off without the pilots who don't really want to be there. RT survived because people wanted to be there, thanks in large part to Badger's leadership skills & charisma & the sense of fun that was around.

Anyhow, I digress (though I am sort of talking about this thread's original topic) - in summary, please don't say "not to put words in people's mouths" and then spout off a load of unsubstantiated conjecture.

I ddint say L1ngus was recruit. he and I talked long before he left. I thought his freindship with Grav had something to do with him leaving BS.

My point is that everytime BS and maybe other squads seem to become more competitive the player who helped get them there leave.

If the concensus if that no squads "recruit" other squads players then I digress

The only people SysX recruits are newbies. Everyone else comes willing and freely.

@DSM may recruit actively from other squads (I don't know why I say may I know they do) but thats it.

The last vet SysX actively recruited I can think of is Renegade Peon (this is more amusing now looking at that other thread Ryj was mocked in) who is now a valued member of our squad who was previously a merc. The person I think we recruited before that was probably HSharp?

Death render was asked to join DSM while he was in SPQR. I'm still not happy about this, as it violates an unspoken agreement. However @#(! happens.
