Trying to line up on an aleph in a bomber only to receive a good lag spike, sending myself through said aleph, meeting a camp inside, trying to pull back but too disoriented to do so only to be quickly podded, then booted by Paraclete whilst trying to say "Sorry, I lagged through the aleph."
Good times.
Good times.

Not that funny, but just what I can remember from my (not so long) time playing Allegiance. ( Basically I figured it was about time I made a post xD )
TF vs IC, early game. I see a miner detects nme -> under attack warning followed by a d miners VC, so i drop the last probe i had on me in the sector i was in (i finished scouting that sector at that point), start mounting nan and rip to miner.... just in time to have a boosting # in an int run me over as hes going for miner :/. Saddest part being i was able to pod that same # with a scout vs his int a few minutes back and laughed about it. Karma? xD

Back to original topic, not really Ironic - but made me laugh lots....

I will say one of the funniest things I've recently seen was recently when Yiggz got punted from a game, he then proceeded to make single player games with interesting titles and then resign them.
QUOTE YES BOMB AGAINST HVY INTS game has been completed
NOW YOU WILL TELL ME YOU NEED AC3 game has been completed
ALL OF YOUR MINERS WILL DIE game has been completed
WHY DONT YOU JUST RESIGN game has been completed[/quote]
What was more humorous was that after the the 3rd one, all of their miners did die and then they did resign.

I love mid-day GMT, early morning EST.
The hot headed commanders are a treat, allthough an annoyance when I get the boot.
Joined the game, decided to change the screen brightness, turned up the volume, started putting together everything a noob scout needs. I launch and see our own miner blow up in a cataclysim of fire (or a pixelated orange blob). Well I think to myself, it is too late, might aswell head out to see what probing needs to be done. Ensue the barrage of angry PMs from the TL shouting at me for not nanning the miner and my swift boot. I hate this time of day.
EDIT, suffering another boot at the moment. There had just been a galv run on a tac on low, we made the kill and everyone rips out. (me having no idea what the plan is next) I hit my r key like a good little soldier. Here I am in a squad of 5 destroying teleports, really putting an effort in for the team, finally appreciating the beauty of Alleg.
Suddenly there is an order for all units to attack ...etc..etc... my lightning speed little finger hits insert. 10 seconds later I am in a nooby state of terror blindly firing at whatever I look onto, desperatly tryinig to get my green circle of death. Obviously the other team finds it halarious to see a fighter trying to destroy their ints with a galv and 2 blasters, and some merryment in global chat ensues (check out mm taking on our Sup with a galv). Hot headed TL gets the wrong end of the stick and is an instant boot.
Some of the TL I have served under are great, but seriously, some people need to learn to keep a cool head and not boot for every tiny little lapse of judgement a noob faces. Man I wish I was 0 again.
