This thread is a list of the decisions regarding gameplay. If you want to change my mind, bother me on the #Quantus IRC channel, or post something convincing in the related gameplay thread.

Pods

Discussion here and here.

The decision on pods came with the finalization of the infantry. It has been determined that pods would be infantry without armor, and due to the radiation, would die in a core specific time. These infantry pods would also die in one hit. If an infantry pod is picked up by a vehicle, he may be transferred back to base, or choose to turret the vehicle, depending on the core editors plan.

Infantry

The decision about infantry was closely related to the decision on pods. In order to make pods work, infantry need to have battlearmor. This armor wouldn't be huge mech suit, but more like 1-inch thick survival suit. This suit is necessary due to the radiation present on Quantus. Some hvy infantry have even thicker armor in order to protect them in combat. Unfortunately, these extra large suits are to fat to fit into some vehicles. The small suits would be able to enter into most.

Infantry that will probably have small suits:
Scouts
Snipers
Engineers

Infantry that would most likely have large suits:
Fighters
Anti Tank
Explosive (

Please remember that who uses what and which infantry even exists is all up the core editors. The examples are merely there to illustrate the concept.
