We have some capable guys, but they just don't have time for us... So we don't actually have them. :(

There are only 2 times when Alleg goes into 'bullet time' for me:

when Vista starts to do it's auto update and whatnot @#(!

when there is a ton of prox around

thats with the beta client

I'm getting the same with the normal client. Only when turreting and entering a camped aleph, though.

I get it on galv and bombruns. With 5-10 fps I am useless. Even nanning is impossible. That's the reason I quit.

FWIW I think they updated the DX9 version since the super-buggy release. Last time I tried it, the only artefacts I can recall were the minimap looking a bit washed out and black squares around prox mines. It's been a while, mind you. That said, worth another shot, eh? :)

I just tried the dx9 version and it's just as choppy as the normal version. Vista64, ATI with latest driver. Was playing happily with my 6 year-old piece of junk until i bought a new laptop.... it's pissing me off to the point of not wanting to play anymore. :/

You probably have anti aliasing or anisotropic filtering forced on in the control panel.
